WBNS Tour Monday
0Beth has let me know that our tour has been approved and is official! Just remember, we will not be meeting next Tuesday due to the tour on Monday.
For all those planning on attending the WBNS tour next week, we will be meeting at the church by 3:30pm at the latest on Monday, August 15th. In addition, anyone who is attending must, absolutely MUST, have the 10TV tour release form signed by a parent/guardian. You can download and print it out to get signed by clicking on the link below. If you do not have this, you will not be able to go — so this is very important.
Summer Camp 2011
0Summer camp was a success this year down at Chief Logan Reservation. We had seven scouts attend, from July 10 to July 16. They all stayed in tents and slept on cots that they helped pitch themselves for the week. I think it’s safe to say that everybody had a lot of fun, and quite enjoyed themselves. Along with that, they came back with twenty merit badges between the seven of them to show for all their hard work. Nearly everybody finished nearly all the requirements for second and first class, as well.
Aside from some very hot and muggy days and a few nasty storms, all went well. The next step now to start getting some board of reviews rolling over the next couple of weeks, to get everyone advanced up a rank. Then comes the time for a court of honor, to recognize all the boys for their hard work and get them their awards.
Photos from camp are also avaliable to view in the photo gallery, or you can just click here.
Scout Accounts Updated
0I just finished updating the scout accounts with the candy bar fundraiser money… Beth said there is still some money out to be turned in, and as soon as that is in I will once again update the accounts.
Update: As of 7-5-11, the account information is all up-to-date.

Easter Breakfast, Candy, and Contact Sheets
0We’d like to thank everyone who came out to the Easter Breakfast — we hope you all enjoyed it! Thank you also to everyone who helped out, including all the scouts, who did a superb job.
We collected $170 in donations, which we plan to put towards the replacement of our rather ragged troop flag. Thank you once again to everyone!
And on a side note, Scoutmaster Woolfe would like to let the scouts know to keep working hard on selling their candy bars, to raise money for themselves for summer camp. As soon as the money is turned in, and I recieve the figures from Beth, I will update the scout accounts online — I’ll put out a new post when I do that.
Tonya was kind enough to put together a contact list for the Troop and Pack — I didn’t post it on the site as I didn’t want to publicize everyone’s email and phone numbers, but if you need a copy feel free to email me at webmaster@scout533.com and I can forward you a copy.
